The Organization is dedicated to support the wellbeing of orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) through improved community health and education. With direct support from Pact Tanzania, ZAMWASO is implementing the 5 years USAID-Kizazi Kipya Project in Urban District-Unguja (2017-2021). The goal of the program is to Improve the health and social wellbeing of orphans and vulnerable children, young people, and their families through strategic service delivery and support.<\/p>\n<p>In line with USAID-Kizazi Kipya objectives, growth and sustainability, ZAMWASO wishes to attract enthusiastic, creative, energetic M&amp;E Officer to monitor program implementation.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Job title:\u00a0<b>Monitoring and Evaluation Officer<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Program: USAID Kizazi Kipya<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to: Program Manager<\/p>\n<p>Duty station: Urban District-Zanzibar<\/p>\n<p>Employment Duration May \u2013 August, 2021 (4 months)<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2021 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9068680313\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Objectives of the Position<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To monitoring implementation of Kizazi Kipya Project, through analyzing project data, asses performance and advice program team. Oversee data collection, verification and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Asses performance of indicator, provide regular feedback of program achievement against the targets to inform and achieve intended program outputs and outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity of program staff and stakeholders to implement M&amp;E activities and integrate timely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Roles and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute monitoring and evaluation activities in mjini councils, including data collection, management, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Perform data analyses and visualization to promote data use at all levels Generate and contribute to quarterly or other reports, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quarterly data review meeting Support Cluster M&amp;E staff to conduct routine internal data quality assessments (DQAs)<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular data monitoring site visits to caseworkers; review and provide feedback on case workers performance<\/li>\n<li>Review critically reports submitted by case workers and perform data verification as needed Set up and maintain data entry and management systems including application<\/li>\n<li>Perform data entry when needed Other tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in health program, social sciences or statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Proven critical data analysis skills and report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of \u201chands on experience of OVC Program<\/li>\n<li>Experience with DHIS2.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in data collection through mobile platforms preferably CommCare and USSD.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with DQA, identifying data trends and communicating this information to allow for changes in program implementatio<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with NGO which is active in health development.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and people management skills-a team player and builder.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Procedures<\/b><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2021 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9068680313\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nInterested individuals fulfilling the required criteria should email their application letter and CV to\u00a0<b>recruit.zamwaso@gmail.com<\/b>\u00a0including daytime telephone contact, names and addresses of three referees by 29th April 2021.
