Humphrey Fellowship Program\u00a0is a United States government-funded exchange program that brings accomplished young and mid-career professionals with demonstrated leadership potential to the United States for a year of non-degree graduate-level study, leadership development, and substantive professional collaboration with U.S.<br \/>\ncounterparts.<\/p>\n<p>By providing future leaders and policy makers with experience in U.S. society, culture, and professional fields, the program provides a basis for lasting, productive ties between Americans and their professional counterparts overseas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants MUST be from the following eligible fields:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSustainable Development<\/strong><br \/>\na. Agricultural and Rural Development<br \/>\nb. Economic Development\/Finance and Banking<br \/>\nc. Natural Resources, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change<br \/>\nd. Urban and Regional Planning<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDemocratic Institution Building<\/strong><br \/>\na. Communications\/Journalism<br \/>\nb. Law and Human Rights<br \/>\nc. Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration<br \/>\nd. Trafficking in Persons Policy and Prevention<br \/>\ne. Technology Policy and Management<br \/>\nf. Human Resource Management<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nEducation<\/strong><br \/>\na. Educational Administration, Planning and Policy<br \/>\nb. Higher Education Administration<br \/>\nc. Teaching of English as a Foreign Language<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nPublic Health<\/strong><br \/>\na. Public Health Policy and Management<br \/>\nb. HIV\/AIDS Policy and Prevention<br \/>\nc. Substance Abuse Education, Prevention, and Treatment<br \/>\nd. Contagious and Infectious Diseases<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-rec td-a-rec-id-content_inline tdi_2_e28 td_block_template_1\">\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2021 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9068680313\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nCandidates must have either a research background in the field or demonstrated ability to learn the results and policy implications of current research.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<p>The Fellowship provides for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payment of tuition and fees at the assigned host university;<\/li>\n<li>Pre-academic English language training, if required;<\/li>\n<li>A maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settling-in allowance;<\/li>\n<li>Accident and sickness coverage;<\/li>\n<li>A book allowance;<\/li>\n<li>A one-time computer subsidy;<\/li>\n<li>Air travel (international travel to and from the U.S. for the Program and domestic travel to required program events);<\/li>\n<li>A Professional Development allowance for professional activities, such as field trips, professional visits and conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications for the Humphrey Fellowship must be filed online; do not send applications to the Public Affairs Section or the Embassy.
