These scholarships are funded by the UK\u00a0<a href=\"httpsss:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/foreign-commonwealth-development-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Foreign, Commonwealth &amp; Development Office (FCDO)<\/a>, with the aim of contributing to the UK\u2019s international development aims and wider overseas interests, supporting excellence in UK higher education, and sustaining the principles of the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>YOU MAY ALSO APPLY FOR<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"httpss:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/invest-your-talent-in-italy-scholarships-2021-2022-for-international-students-funded-to-study-in-italy\/\">Invest Your Talent in Italy Scholarships 2021\/2022 for International students (Funded to study in Italy)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These scholarships are offered under six themes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Science and technology for development<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening health systems and capacity<\/li>\n<li>Promoting global prosperity<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening global peace, security and governance<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening resilience and response to crises<\/li>\n<li>Access, inclusion and opportunity<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Eligibility Requirements<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-rec td-a-rec-id-content_inline tdi_2_305 td_block_template_1\">\n<p>To be eligible for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, candidates should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person<\/li>\n<li>Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country<\/li>\n<li>Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.<\/li>\n<li>Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Selection process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Each participating UK University will conduct its own recruitment process to select a specified number of candidates for Distance Learning Scholarships. Universities must put forward their selected candidates to the CSC by\u00a0<strong>28th May 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019-CreativeAD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"8884173138\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nThe CSC will then confirm that these candidates meet the eligibility criteria for this scheme and universities will inform candidates of their results by\u00a0<strong>July 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selection criteria includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic merit of the candidate<\/li>\n<li>Potential impact of the work on the development of the candidate\u2019s home country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You must apply to study an eligible master\u2019s course at a UK university that is participating in the Distance Learning scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Please see the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"httpsss:\/\/cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk\/commonwealth-distance-learning-scholarships-2021-eligible-courses\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">full list of participating universities and eligible courses<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You must also apply and secure admission to your university course in addition to applying for a Distance Learning Scholarship.\u00a0<strong>You must check with your chosen university for their specific advice on when to apply, admission requirements, and rules for applying.<\/strong>\u00a0You must make your application using the CSC\u2019s online application system, in addition to any other application that you are required to complete by your chosen university.
