Driven by a core strategic mandate for research, training and services, the Institute\u2019s work now spans a wide spectrum, covering biomedical and ecological sciences, intervention studies, health-systems research and policy translation.<\/p>\n<p><b>Position Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>IHI is looking for a Research Officer to fill a vacant position in the PanACEA II project. The research officer will work as a medical doctor at the TB clinic to do investigation, recruit and provide medication to study participants in the cohort.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019-CreativeAD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"8884173138\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in clinical research study as per research<\/li>\n<li>Develop SOPs in collaboration with the principal<\/li>\n<li>Participate in screening of the<\/li>\n<li>Enroll patients to the study after<\/li>\n<li>Manage patients in the process of<\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage any adverse and severe event of study<\/li>\n<li>Provide counseling to participants on psychosocial<\/li>\n<li>Make follow up of the<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate working relationships among the hospital staff and IHI<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the principal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualification and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Doctor of Medicine\/Medical Doctor (MD)\/Bachelor of<\/li>\n<li>Two-year experience in clinical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patient Management<\/li>\n<li>Computer<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under minimum supervision but also within a<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to IHI core values (Transparency, Accountability, Respect, Integrity and Initiative).<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Remuneration<\/b><\/p>\n<p>An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates as per IHI<\/p>\n<p><b>Equal Opportunity<\/b><\/p>\n<p>IHI is an equal opportunity employer.
