East Africa Time)<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic Assistant, Procurement Manager to work in our Dar Es Salaam Office, who will be in charge of a sizeable volume or key project purchasing programs.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019-CreativeAD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"8884173138\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>The incumbent will be expected to:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and use fruitful sourcing strategies in local market<\/li>\n<li>Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous credit terms<\/li>\n<li>Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries with Procurement Manager<\/li>\n<li>Track and report key functional system of measurement to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company<\/li>\n<li>Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements<\/li>\n<li>Assisting sale team in understanding BOQ and sourcing material<\/li>\n<li>Close coordination with store for analyzing and understanding the fast moving and slow-moving items<\/li>\n<li>Preparing report of fast- and slow-moving items and presenting to procurement manage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven working experience as Assistant to Procurement, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in \u201creading\u201d the market<\/li>\n<li>Talent in negotiations and networking<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of local manufacturer and supplier<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of construction materials<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge ERP software<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers<\/li>\n<li>Experience in collecting and analyzing data<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor in Mechanical or Civil degree<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in material management and quantity surveying will be added qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019 Links AD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9648899391\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nMaruma &amp;
