The post holder will ensure that all reports whether periodic, statutory or donor related are accurate and meet the required standard.<\/p>\n<p><b>SCOPE OF ROLE:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Reports to: Refugees Response Program Manager<\/p>\n<p>Number of direct reports: Finance and Administrative assistant<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Financial Compliance and Reporting<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The position holder will ensure that all accounting transactions for Kibondo Field office are reviewed before recorded in Agresso to ensure compliance with:<\/li>\n<li>Save the Children policies and procedures as well as Scheme of Delegation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Respective donor\u2019s policies and procedures [Awards team to be consulted for relevant donor polices &amp; Procedures]<\/li>\n<li>Statutory obligations [relevant TAX and VAT laws, compliance with GAAP]<\/li>\n<li>Financial control procedures across the Humanitarian Programme.<\/li>\n<li>The post holder will ensure that each accounting transaction have a proper audit trail and supporting documents. With challenging environments for constructing schools, clinics, and other buildings, borehole drilling and construction this position will demand a highly motivated, detail oriented individual who will be able to solve challenges as they arise.
