Must be registered by the National Pharmacy Board of Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determining, preparing and ordering drugs and treatment instruments requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Storing and Dispensing drugs and treatment instruments as per prescription to patients and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Compounding\/Manufacturing medicines.<\/li>\n<li>Educating public\/patients on proper use of medicines.<\/li>\n<li>Inspecting drugs and treatment instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Providing information on reaction resulting from the use of medicine.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing report on the use of drugs and treatment instruments in the Institute.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping various records of drugs and treatment instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in procurement and maintaining adequate stock of drugs<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assisting physicians, interns, nurses and patients on medications<\/li>\n<li>Sorting out and listing drugs expiring within three months for the attention of Superior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Age: Not more than 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>Remunerations: Attractive renumeration package in accordance with Institute\u2019s Salary scale \u2013 PMGSS 4.<\/p>\n<p>Vacancy title:\u00a0<b>Pharmacist<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The applicant should have a Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Must be registered by the National Pharmacy Board of Tanzania with working experience of at least 6 years as Pharmacist from the reputable organization.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervising the community pharmacy on provision of pharmaceutical services.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and coordinating Institute\u2019s systems on procurement, storage and dispensing drugs and treatment instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing directives of Institute Therapeutic Committee.<\/li>\n<li>Planning, organizing and directing pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance to the pharmacy board and Institute policies.<\/li>\n<li>Executing and coordinating scientific research and make use of their results to improve pharmaceutical services.<\/li>\n<li>Assessing quality, safety and efficiency of drugs and treatment instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring proper consumption of drugs and treatment instruments in the Institute. Educating junior staff, medical staff and public on proper use of drugs and treatment instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical advice on the pharmaceutical services in the Institute.<\/li>\n<li>Determining and controlling drugs and treatment instruments in order to prevent its misuse.
