entry-content\">POSITION:\u00a0\u00a0<b>CHIEF ACCOUNTANT\u00a0<\/b>1\u00a0 POST<b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible\u00a0 for supervising directly all activities of the Accounting Department.<\/li>\n<li>Chief Advisor to the management and all the Board of Directors on all financial matters of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for timely preparation of financial accounts and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the financial functions of the company are carried out correctly and in accordance with the rules and Regulations laid down by NBAA and within the ruling legal frame work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all statutory returns are prepared and payment made in time.<\/li>\n<li>Overall in &#8211; charge of costs control in the Company using\u00a0 budgetary\u00a0 and other management control methods.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the standard of Book \u2013 keeping and Accounting is high and able to give the company a clean External Audit Report every year.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Annual Budget.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of Monthly,\u00a0 Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Work in Conformity with food safety Management system and ISO\u00a0 22,000<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirement for appointment<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appointed by the Board of Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Must have Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Finance in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration in Accounting or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Must have CPAT (Certified Public Accountant) or\u00a0 ACCPA<\/li>\n<li>Must be registered by NBAA.<\/li>\n<li>Five years of working experience in any commercial\u00a0 organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>MODE OF auditing which will include preparing of annual audit plan which will fulfill the responsibility of internal audit.<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling and assigning audit work to meet completion dates.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and examine policies and procedures and systems to safeguard the resources of the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that accepted accounting and auditing principles and policies are followed, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal accounting procedures and operating systems and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Confer with management staff and meet with other system
