The Centre is wholly owned by the Government of United Republic of Tanzania and operates under the purview of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Co-operation.<\/p>\n<p>AICC was established to manage and control the Headquarters\u2019 complex of the defunct East African Community in Arusha which belonged to the defunct East African Community.\u00a0 It also owns Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre as per Arusha International Conference Centre (Amendment) Order of 2014, dated 19th March, 2014; and provide facilities and services on the complex for purposes of conferences, meetings, seminars etc.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre invites applications from suitably qualified Public Servants who wish to be transferred to Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC)<\/p>\n<p><b>PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN II\u00a0<\/b>(ONE POST)<\/p>\n<p><b>(a) Direct Entry Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Holder of Diploma in Pharmacy or its equivalent qualifications from a reputable institution and licensed by the Pharmacy Council<\/p>\n<p><b>(b) Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Undertake Pharmaceutical Production i.e. compounding, packaging and labelling pharmaceutical products under supervision of senior staff.<\/p>\n<p>Providing medication and other health care products to patients<\/p>\n<p>Dispensing medicines to patients<\/p>\n<p>Educating patients on rational use of drugs<\/p>\n<p>Maintaining prescription records and inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products<\/p>\n<p>Performing any other duties relevant to the scope of work that may be assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n<p><b>MODE OF APPLICATION<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should apply in confidence enclosing:<\/p>\n<p><b>Detailed CV<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Certified copies of certificates, transcripts and valid licenses<\/p>\n<p><b>NOTE:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be Public Servants and channel their application letters through their respective employers, failure of which will lead to automatic disqualification<\/p>\n<p>All applicants should indicate the positions they apply on top of the envelope<\/p>\n<p>Only successful candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should indicate their willingness and commitment to cover the transfer cost as the transfer is considered to be self-initiated.<\/p>\n<p><b>Application<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of relevant certificates, testimonials, names and email addresses of three referees should be uploaded via httpss:\/\/recruitment.aicc.co.tz, so as to be received not later than 30th\u00a0 September, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Managing Director<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Arusha International Conference Centre<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>P.O.
