{"id":17777,"date":"2020-08-26T11:00:48","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T08:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=17777"},"modified":"2020-08-26T08:49:51","modified_gmt":"2020-08-26T05:49:51","slug":"job-vacancy-at-wakulima-tea-company-financial-accountant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-vacancy-at-wakulima-tea-company-financial-accountant\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy at Wakulima Tea Company, Financial Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-header\">\n<div class=\"post-header-line-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"post-body-2483384840577460658\" class=\"post-body entry-content\"><b>Position: Financial Accountant (1 Post),<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Reporting to:<\/b>\u00a0Group Financial Controller<\/p>\n<p><b>Term of the Contract:<\/b>\u00a0Permanent<\/p>\n<p>Wakulima Tea Company Ltd; the Largest Smallholder Tea Company in Tanzania; supporting over 12000 Smallholder farmers and with 2 factories one in Tukuyu-Rungwe, and the second one is in Mwakaleli- Busokelo District, wishes to recruit well qualified, high caliber, Financial Accountant.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be required to manage all duties and responsibilities, which will be invested on them, major ones will be as follows: \u2013<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and maintain Cash flows, Monthly Management accounts<\/li>\n<li>Manage Annual budgets including Preparation<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Year-end Financial statements, manage and assist End of the year audit<\/li>\n<li>Supervise Financial Assistant and other employees in the facilitation of the day to day operations including management of the financial data<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that, all the company\u2019s financial practices are in line with the statutory regulations and legislation<\/li>\n<li>Recommend cost reducing solutions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure operational compliances and policies are up to date<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile monthly bank accounts and General ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other external parties depending on the requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Managing of the Company Assets including handling of Insurance of the same<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties and when assigned by the Senior Management from time to Time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education and qualification<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Minimum qualification: CPA (T)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Degree:<\/b>\u00a0Bachelor in Corporate Finance\/Accounting\/Business Administration and any other related field Experience Level: Management Level<\/p>\n<p><b>Experience Length:<\/b>\u00a0Minimum 4 years as an External Auditor, preferably in agriculture Sector<\/p>\n<p><b>APPLICATION AND DEADLINE.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The closing date for applications is\u00a0<b>28th August 2020<\/b>.
