Mwananchi, The Citizen and Mwanaspoti is looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of<\/p>\n<p><b>INTERNAL AUDITOR<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Purpose:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent is responsible for carrying out risk based audit planning, reviewing financial and operational internal controls and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, reviewing management accounts for accuracy and completeness, carrying out risk assessment of MCL\u2019s business activities and making practical recommendations.<\/p>\n<p><b>Main Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning of audit assignments i.e. information gathering, risk assessment and analysis, internal controls review, determining scope and objectives, audit strategy and approach.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out financial, operational, administrative and information system audits.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out special audits and investigations.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and discuss control weaknesses and recommendations for improvement with management.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and review audit results with management<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Board Audit Committee<\/li>\n<li>Review management accounts and generate regular exceptional analysis reports.<\/li>\n<li>Review economy and efficiency in use of company resources.<\/li>\n<li>Regular follow up of recommendations\/action points and preparation of Status reports.<\/li>\n<li>Provide advisory services to management when requested.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to risk management activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to compliance review activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic : Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from a recognized institution, master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Professional : Certificate in CPA or ACCA Membership to relevant professional body<\/li>\n<li>Experience : Six (6) years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Decision making;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret long term plans, programs and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal and leadership skills;<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop plans, programs, SOPS, and coordination of workflows<\/li>\n<li>Creativity; and<\/li>\n<li>Strategic management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>MODE OF APPLICATION:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via our career portal httpsss:\/\/careers.mcl.co.tz before August 14, 2020<\/p>\n<p>NB:Only short listed candidates will be contacted.<br \/>\nMCL is an equal opportunity employer.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"httpsss:\/\/careers.mcl.co.tz\/home\/job\/preview\/48\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INTERNAL AUDITOR Mwananchi Communications Limited, publishers of the leading Tanzania newspapers.
