A store that represents a real<br \/>\nconcentrate of quality, freshness and above all enhancement of all products to meet<br \/>\ncustomers need\u2019s.<br \/>\nIn order to enhance our efficiency the company seeking to hire qualified and competent<br \/>\ncandidates for the following position:<\/p>\n<p>JOB TITLE:\u00a0<b>SALES OFFICER\/SHELVE\u2019S KEEPER<\/b>\u00a0(SUPERMARKET)<\/p>\n<p>JOB LOCATION: PLOT NO 302, BLOCK B, KIBAHA TOWN (OPPOSITE CRDB BANK)<br \/>\nCOMPANY NAME: KARAFU ENTEPRISES LIMITED<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greeting customers who enter the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.<\/li>\n<li>Stocking shelves with merchandise.<\/li>\n<li>Answering queries from customers.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with customer refunds.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping the shelves tidy and clean.<\/li>\n<li>Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.<\/li>\n<li>Attaching price tags to merchandise on the supermarket floor.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and etc.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Keeping the supermarket inventory records and ensuring the minimum stock requirement is maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly replenishing and refilling the inventory that is for sale on the supermarket shelves.<\/li>\n<li>Checking the expiry dates, labels, tags and quality of the goods shelved in the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the goods stacked on the shelves complies with the standards of the supermarket and that they are not damaged.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the work processes with the sales teams and other store departments.<\/li>\n<li>Efficiently following all the tasks delegated by the supervising authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Having a friendly and engaging personality.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with members of the public.<\/li>\n<li>Should have a confident manner.<\/li>\n<li>Must be helpful and polite.<\/li>\n<li>Should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.<\/li>\n<li>You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Fast<\/li>\n<li>Moving Consumer Goods, sports equipment etc.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work as part of a sales and shelves keeper team.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management experience in a supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate\/Diploma in Business management\/Bachelor Degree in Business management\/further relevant education and\/or training a plus.
