We offer flexibility in how you work that helps you do your job in a way that suits you, opportunities to help you grow and progress throughout your career and a choice of benefits to suit your lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p><b>Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Responsible for the definition and delivery of a Terminals Strategy and management of the value chain across Tanzania as well as enable the delivery of core strategy objectives such as Data Growth or Smartphone penetration.<\/li>\n<li>This includes implementation of device S&amp;D strategies, effective management of the various distribution channels, ensuring continuous performance and achievement of KPI\u2019s, management of divisional expenditure, collaboration with teams (both internal staff and contracted teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key accountabilities;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define the\u00a0 local terminals portfolio, integrating global portfolio strategy and plans and local needs; Cooperate to define the right street prices, to drive marketing initiatives and sales<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate the procurement for handsets,\u00a0 tablets and connected devices across Tanzania , delivering competitive advantage for Vodacom and ensuring leadership in terms of price, volumes, quality, terms and conditions according to customer demand and the local &amp; global strategy<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the Go-to-market plans with the Retail teams to ensure that Vodacom becomes the destination for Smartphones.<\/li>\n<li>Best in class Commercial pricing and practises, including Marketing funds, payment terms, warranties, after sales and legal requirements, using global and local levers.<\/li>\n<li>Secure Vodacom exclusives devices and offers from our suppliers so that we get reach the title \u2018\u2019best in class\u2019\u2019 in Tanzania<\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with the Open Market through partnerships with key device dealers<\/li>\n<li>Lead strategic terminal business development projects and initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Core competencies, knowledge and experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong financial and analytical and commercial experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong supply chain knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Leadership &amp; Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong Negotiations skills<\/li>\n<li>High degree interest in mobile devices, platforms, and other Tech<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge on products and services<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Creating and Innovating<\/li>\n<li>Working with People<\/li>\n<li>Delivering Results and Meeting customer Expectations<\/li>\n<li>Deciding and Initiating Action<\/li>\n<li>Coping with Pressure<\/li>\n<li>Leading and Supervising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Must have technical\/professional qualifications:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 year degree or relevant equivalent in Finance ,commerce or business<\/li>\n<li>\u00a05\u00a0 years of experience in telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Managerial\/Supervisory\/Leadership experience \u2013 5yrs essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital Advocacy<\/li>\n<li>Competitor Awareness and Cross Sell<\/li>\n<li>Ownership<\/li>\n<li>Building Rapport<\/li>\n<li>Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Building and Proposing Solutions<\/li>\n<li>Empathy<\/li>\n<li>Objection Handling and Negotiation<\/li>\n<li>Identifies Customer Needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Commitment from Vodacom<\/p>\n<p>Vodacom is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the very best people by offering a flexible, motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognized, developed and rewarded.
