A store that represents a real concentrate of quality, freshness and above all enhancement of all products to meet customers need\u2019s.<br \/>\nIn order to enhance our efficiency the company seeking to hire qualified and competent candidates for the following position:<\/p>\n<p><b>JOB TITLE:\u00a0BRANCH MANAGER<\/b>\u00a0(SUPERMARKET) (1POST)<\/p>\n<p>JOB LOCATION: PLOT NO 302, BLOCK B, KIBAHA TOWN (OPPOSITE CRDB BANK)<br \/>\nCOMPANY NAME:\u00a0<b>KARAFU ENTERPRISES\u00a0LIMITED<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the General Manager in decision making and strategic planning for expansion of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Be the person-in-charge in the absence of the General Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Align self with vision, mission and current strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Open Book Management and mentor staff accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and manage a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Procurement<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing plan for purchasing supermarket products.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing, comparing, analysing and approving products and services to be purchased.<\/li>\n<li>Following and enforcing the rules and regulation of the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of budget, cost analysis and report for the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining good supplier relation and negotiation contract for the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and updating suppliers information qualifications such as delivery time, products range etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Sales\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers<\/li>\n<li>Source and work customer referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and\/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Storage\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check inventory records for accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping record for all items allocated, received to another place.<\/li>\n<li>Compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory<\/li>\n<li>Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom<\/li>\n<li>Receive, unload, and shelve supplies<\/li>\n<li>Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies<\/li>\n<li>Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping<\/li>\n<li>Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management experience in a supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Business management\/Bachelor Degree in Business management\/further relevant education and\/or training a plus.
