      \n
    • Work closely with the General Manager in decision making and strategic planning for expansion of the business.<\/li>\n
    • Be the person-in-charge in the absence of the General Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Align self with vision, mission and current strategies.<\/li>\n
      • Participate in Open Book Management and mentor staff accordingly.<\/li>\n
      • Lead and manage a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES<\/b>

        \n<\/b>Procurement<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Preparing plan for purchasing supermarket products.<\/li>\n
        • Reviewing, comparing, analysing and approving products and services to be purchased.<\/li>\n
        • Following and enforcing the rules and regulation of the supermarket.<\/li>\n
        • \u00a0Preparation of budget, cost analysis and report for the supermarket.<\/li>\n
        • Maintaining good supplier relation and negotiation contract for the supermarket.<\/li>\n
        • Maintaining and updating suppliers information qualifications such as delivery time, products range etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Sales<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          • \n
              \n
            • Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers<\/li>\n
            • Source and work customer referrals.<\/li>\n
            • Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and\/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed.<\/li>\n
            • Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.<\/li>\n
              • Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Storage<\/b><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • Check inventory records for accuracy.<\/li>\n
                • Keeping record for all items allocated, received to another place.<\/li>\n
                • Compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory<\/li>\n
                • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom<\/li>\n
                • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies<\/li>\n
                • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies<\/li>\n
                • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping<\/li>\n
                • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses<\/li>\n
                • \u00a0Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control<\/li>\n
                • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Management experience in a supermarket.<\/li>\n
                  • Diploma in Business management\/Bachelor Degree in Business management\/further relevant education and\/or training a plus<\/li>\n
                  • \u00a0Combination of education, training and\/or experience will be considered.<\/li>\n
                  • Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) any software and Internet applications required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
