CIVIL ROAD TECHNICIAN\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Regional Manager\u2019s Office TANROADS \u2013 KIGOMA on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, intends to recruit and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts on specific duty short \u2013 term contract within the Region.<\/p>\n

Only successful applicants will be notified to attend the interview at their Own cost at Kigoma.<\/p>\n

KEY QUALIFICATION:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Must have a Ordinary Diploma in civil\/highway engineering [OD] Full Technician Certificate [FTC]<\/li>\n
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English<\/li>\n
  • Must be computer literate<\/li>\n
  • Two years experience<\/li>\n
  • Not above 25 years<\/li>\n
  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n

    The holder of this post who reports to maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Inspects and Reports on all designated Roads monthly or at more Frequent intervals if required<\/li>\n
    • Prepares and supervises monthly work programmers for petty contractors Undertaking Routine and Recurrent, Periodic and Emergencymaintenance Work as directed by Engineer<\/li>\n
    • Supervises bridge maintenance works as directed by Engineer<\/li>\n
    • Certifies worksheets, delivery notes and similar documentation as directed By Engineer<\/li>\n
    • Prepares Reports for Engineer as required<\/li>\n
    • Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by Engineer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
