Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is Tanzania\u2019s leading gold producer with a single operation in Geita Region. The company is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, an international gold producer headquartered in South Africa, with operations in more than ten countries, in four continents. The mine is situated in the Lake Victoria Gold fields of North Western Tanzania, only about 85 km\u2019s from Mwanza City and 20 km\u2019s South East of the nearest point of Lake Victoria. The company has its head office in Geita, only 5 Km\u2019s west of the fast growing town of Geita, and also a supporting office in Dar es Salaam. Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

Diploma in Nursing.
\nRegistration with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwifes\u2019 Association<\/p>\n

Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n

Minimum of 2 years work experience in the clinical\/emergency settings
\nPurpose of the Role:<\/p>\n

Provision of nursing care to critical and non-critical patients.<\/p>\n

Main or Key Accountabilities:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Responsible for general patient care<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Administration of medications and injections<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Cleaning of wounds and dressings<\/li>\n
  • Carry out infection prevention and control procedures<\/li>\n
  • Carry out triage<\/li>\n
  • Keeping records of patient properly and ethically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Additional Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Computer Skills (Ms Office)<\/li>\n
    • Excellent Communications skills both English and Swahili<\/li>\n
    • Able to work independently<\/li>\n
    • \u00a0Self-Driven<\/li>\n
    • Excellent physical fitness<\/li>\n
    • Good practical skills in areas of cardiac and respiratory nursing support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
