SERA BORA project has three components, namely:<\/p>\n<p>Policy Research and Data; Policy and Regulatory Reforms; and Institutional Capacity for Policy Architecture.<\/p>\n<p>ASPIRES Tanzania in implementing SERA BORA and works closely with Agriculture Sector Lead Ministries.ASPIRESTanzania seeks to recruit qualified dynamic Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist (C&amp;NM) who will have the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><b>Technical and Leading Roles<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support implementation of SERA BORA communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation<\/li>\n<li>Manage USAID branding and marking plan for SERA BORA Project<\/li>\n<li>Manage internal communications (memos, brochures, newsletters etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or SERA BORA websiteLead effort in preparing policy briefs from various research reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize initiatives and plan events and press conferences<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of SERA BORA policies, principles and strategies and to keep up to date with relevant developments<\/li>\n<li>Foster relationships with advocates and key stakeholders of SERA BORA<\/li>\n<li>Perform \u201cdamage control\u201d in cases of bad publicity<\/li>\n<li>Provide quality assurance for SERA BORA communication materials<\/li>\n<li>Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership<\/li>\n<li>Development of success stories for the project<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationship with journalists and key external role players<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Administrative and Supporting Roles<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the M&amp;E Specialist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and end of project reports<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the M&amp;E Specialist in reviewing various internal documents including the Annual Work Plan; Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan; and similar documents<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with M&amp;E Specialist in ensuring quality control of various project documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements (Knowledge and Skills)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience of at least 5 years as communications specialist in development projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience in digital communications including managing content for organizations\u2019 website and social media<\/li>\n<li>Experience in copywriting and editing<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office;
