Position Details<\/b><\/p>\n

Job Purpose:<\/b>
\nSupport the sales and marketing team with implementing the various sales and marketing
\nactivities as and when needed.<\/p>\n

Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Conduct direct field sales to potential resellers and customers<\/li>\n
  • Record orders and deliver these to customers.<\/li>\n
  • Orient resellers on terms of engagement and ensure reseller agreements are signed<\/li>\n
  • Collect customer information and record using sales tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Supervision Received:<\/b>
    \nThis is medium-level position with primarily routine tasks. Supervision is provided primarily
    \nby the Sales and Marketing manager, as well as occasional touch-points with the MD. Since<\/p>\n

    this position is field-based, supervision may at times be remote.
    \nManagement Responsibility:
    \nNone.
    \nDirect Reports:
    \nMarketing Manager.<\/p>\n

    Qualifications<\/b>
    \nMinimum Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Some previous direct (field) sales experience, preferably in beverage industry<\/li>\n
    • Ability to speak English &amp; a local language<\/li>\n
    • Great attitude and desire for learning<\/li>\n
    • Own a working mobile phone where you can be easily contacted<\/li>\n
    • Willing to spend long hours walking in the field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Experience Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Ability to speak multiple local languages<\/li>\n
      • Own a basic smart phone (with Whatsapp, Google maps)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Preferred Education Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Sales & marketing background<\/li>\n
        • Business administration background<\/li>\n
        • \u00a0Communications background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Required Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Good interpersonal skills; confident, pro-active, good eye-contact, enjoy talking to new people from different backgrounds<\/li>\n
          • Excellent communication skills; able to speak clearly and confidently in different languages<\/li>\n
          • Good with numbers and able to do quick math in your head<\/li>\n
          • Ability to read maps, some working knowledge of various parts of area where you will work<\/li>\n
          • Possession of valid driving licence will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Physical Requirements:<\/b>
            \nAbility to walk for significant amounts of time outdoors.
