Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre (TATC), synonymously known as \u201cShirika la Nyumbu\u201d, was formally established on the 14th December 1985, through a Presidential Order, made under the Public Corporations Act 1969. TATC\u2019s mission is to develop a reputable capacity for automotive engineering by conducting research and innovation, technology transfer and quality assurance services.<\/p>\n

TATC is wholly owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Ministry of Defenceeee and National Service (MoDNS).<\/p>\n

TATC seeks to recruit, intelligent and result-oriented Tanzanians with high integrity, to fill the following vacancies:-
\n
\n<\/b>ASSISTANT FOUNDRY MAN II<\/b>\u00a08 POSTS<\/p>\n

Reports to: Chief Foundry Engineer<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    \n
  • To make moulds of simple castings<\/li>\n
  • To prepare and proceed to make moulds in green and sodium silicate bonded sands.<\/li>\n
  • To operate with high degree og confidence simple foundry machines such as:-<\/li>\n
  • Pneumatic rammers<\/li>\n
  • Sand mixer Cranes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Form IV education with Trade Test Grade II or CBET Level II in a relevant field<\/p>\n

    NB: GENERAL CONDITIONS<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

      \n
    • Applicants must attach an up to date Curriculum Vitae (CV) having reliable contact postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.<\/li>\n
    • The title of the position applied for, should be written in the subject of the application letter marked on the envelope.<\/li>\n
    • Applicant must attach their relevant certified copies of academic certificates, one recent passport size picture and birth certificate.<\/li>\n
    • Applicants who currently employed in the Public Service should route the application letters through their respective employers.<\/li>\n
    • Application letter should be written in Swahili or English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
