We offer flexibility in how you work that helps you do your job in a way that suits you, opportunities to help you grow and progress throughout your career and a choice of benefits to suit your lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role purpose:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Storage management<\/li>\n<li>Billing Systems Management and administration<\/li>\n<li>Billing Systems Security management.<\/li>\n<li>Systems Monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Virtual and Cloud systems administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key accountabilities and decision ownership\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure systems health and Monitoring for all systems under scope are maintained on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure storage management systems health is done on a daily basis, and be able to report any faulty or systems fault alerts to your line Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain daily storage operational activities for billing systems and any other systems as per the tasks assigned based to various projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all systems are protected by available security tools and are compliant as per the security requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Provide and comply auditing details that might be required by the security department.<\/li>\n<li>Self-Development, must have initiation for self-learning to equip him\/herself with technical capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Must have technical\/professional qualifications:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering<\/li>\n<li>GSM and Telecommunication Experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Unix, Linux, Solaris, Windows and Relational Database Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in Centralised storage systems.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge or Experience in Virtual and Cloud systems, (VMWARE is Preferred).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Core competencies, knowledge and experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Stress tolerance<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills and systematic Approaches<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 \u2013 2 years\u2019 Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and Repair<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and Diagnose<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and Integration<\/li>\n<li>NFV\/SDN<\/li>\n<li>Agile<\/li>\n<li>Incident Response<\/li>\n<li>Cloud<\/li>\n<li>Automation and Robotics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Commitment from Vodacom<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Vodacom is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the very best people by offering a flexible, motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognized, developed and rewarded.
