{"id":15741,"date":"2020-04-17T16:00:56","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T13:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=15741"},"modified":"2020-04-17T11:08:50","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T08:08:50","slug":"job-vacancy-head-business-banking-at-stanbic-bank-tanzania-limited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-vacancy-head-business-banking-at-stanbic-bank-tanzania-limited\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy &#8211; Head, Business Banking at Stanbic Bank Tanzania Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"post-body-713012598675368327\" class=\"post-body entry-content\"><b>Head, Business Banking<\/b><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Overview<\/b><br \/>\nJob ID: 48398<br \/>\nJob Sector: Banking<br \/>\nCountry: Tanzania<br \/>\nRegion\/State\/Province\/District: Dar es Salaam Region<br \/>\nLocation: Dar es Salaam<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Details<\/b><br \/>\nRetail &amp; Business Banking<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Purpose<\/b><br \/>\nProvide a sales and professional financial advisory service function to the branch based banking market, increasing market penetration through the management of a portfolio of accounts and proactively identifying sales and cross-selling opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Key Responsibilities\/Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grow the asset\/liability base with respect to branch-based business banking market share in an innovative manner.<\/li>\n<li>Manage &amp; own the relationship with specific tier 1-business customers.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfil the business and personal banking needs of business owners.<\/li>\n<li>Retain the customer base and expand Stanbic\u2019s market share (meeting customer retention and acquisition targets, identifying new and existing clients\/leads to target).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for merchandising in the branch based business-banking market<\/li>\n<li>Analyse information from a variety of sources, determine customers\u2019 financial needs, the nature and type of relationships, risk analysis and financial analysis and make judgements as to the most suitable and profitable solution<\/li>\n<li>Monitor changes in the operating environment, quick to act upon potential opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of business banking developments through regular perusal to relevant literature.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all aspects of credit policy are adhered to and the desired standards with respect to accuracy and timely reporting are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with legal, credit and risk management-related obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Providing superior customer service as measured by customer feedback\/customer satisfaction surveys.<\/li>\n<li>Informing and educating customers about the bank and bank products (raising the customer\u2019s awareness of the most appropriate products and services).<\/li>\n<li>Cross selling and increasing customer portfolios (educating and informing, proactively identifying needs and monitoring accounts).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualification and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree or postgraduate degree (business and\/or finance related).<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Branch procedures &amp; existing customer profiles.<\/li>\n<li>Risk management principles.<\/li>\n<li>Sales support.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge\/Technical Skills\/Expertise<\/li>\n<li>Product knowledge (general as well as investment-related; can determine product combination possibilities; understanding of pricing so as to be able to determine profitability) and also, an understanding of when specialist support is needed.<\/li>\n<li>Credit scoring principles and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Credit applications processes.<\/li>\n<li>Technical issues such as how to credit score, use software, open accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the Bank\u2019s strategy &amp; the local market business conditions and key players.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PLEASE NOTE:<\/b>\u00a0All our recruitment and selection processes comply with applicable local laws and regulations.
