Accountant II<\/b><\/p>\n

The Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA) is an Agency under the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication established under the authority of the Executive Agencies Act No 30 of 1997 by an Establishment Order by the Minister for Works through Government Notice No. 254 of 26th August 2005. TEMESA was specifically established to provide efficient and effective electrical, mechanical and electronic services, reliable and safe ferry transport services and hiring of equipment to government institutions and the public at large.<\/p>\n

The Regional Manager -TEMESA Kilimanjaro seeks to recruit qualified, dedicated, self-motivated and hardworking Tanzanians to fill the following available vacancies.<\/p>\n

Accountant II \u2013 1 Post
\n
\n<\/b>Required qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n

Must possess a Bachelor\/Advance Diploma in Accounting\/ Finance\/Commerce\/Marketing\/ Business Administration majoring in Accounts or Finance from University, College or any Institute recognized by the Government
\nKnowledge with at least one of Government Payment System
\nKnowledge with any TEMESA Report Management System
\nPossess of Computer Knowledge and use of Electronic Fiscal Device is essential
\nPossess of a Master\u2019s Degree in Accounts and Finance\/Commerce Marketmg\/Business Administration and CPA (T) qualification will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n

Prepare Accounts documents and maintain reconciliation
\nPrepare daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
\nEnsure inward and outward bills are maintained properly
\nMaintain finance and procurement records of the station
\nMaintain proper accounting procedures and records to make sure the station remains free of queries
\nAdherence to the regulations and Agency policies
\nCan work independent at minimal supervision
\nDuty station:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0TEMESA MOSHI<\/p>\n

SALARY SCALE: TGS D<\/p>\n

Employment category: One Year Contract and renewable
\nAge: Not more than 30 years of age at the end of December 2020
\nValidity of Certificates: Respective certificates to be verified<\/p>\n
