{"id":15612,"date":"2020-04-10T11:15:23","date_gmt":"2020-04-10T08:15:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=15612"},"modified":"2020-04-10T11:08:21","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T08:08:21","slug":"job-vacancy-advertising-sales-support-at-startimes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-vacancy-advertising-sales-support-at-startimes\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy &#8211; Advertising Sales Support at StarTimes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"post-body-2735750932225570786\" class=\"post-body entry-content\"><b>Advertising Sales Support\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Leading Digital TV industry player StarTimes is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional who is suitably qualified to fill in the position of an Advertising Sales Support.<\/p>\n<p>Job Title: Advertising Sales Support<br \/>\nReports To: Advertising Sales Director<br \/>\nDepartment: Media \u2013 Advertising Sales<br \/>\nLocations: Dar es Salaam<\/p>\n<p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain relationships with clients and advertising agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate relationships with clients, gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide solutions to their marketing and advertising.<\/li>\n<li>Collect the information and analyze Tanzania market and our competitors.<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meets assigned expectations for profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Reports to the Advertising Sales Director.<\/p>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in relevant area from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n<li>More than 3 years\u2019 experience in TV advertising sales or media planning.<\/li>\n<li>Should have a core understanding of media industry and marketing management, especially the media environment\/ facts in Tanzania.<\/li>\n<li>Having the working experience in advertising agencies would be preferred, which should include an in-depth familiarity with the Tanzania agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>SKILLS:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should have strong and comprehensive analytical and effective execution abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Should possess the ability and skill to write the proposals to meet the clients\u2019 needs.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Packages and other relevant marketing software.<\/li>\n<li>Interviews will be done on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
