We offer flexibility in how you work that helps you do your job in a way that suits you, opportunities to help you grow and progress throughout your career and a choice of benefits to suit your lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role purpose:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support to the Management Report Generation and Delivery,<\/li>\n<li>Data Warehouse System Administration and Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Assuring completeness and accuracy of data loaded in the Data Warehouse<\/li>\n<li>Interconnect Billing &amp; Reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key accountabilities and decision ownership\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Daily\/monthly\/Adhoc management and Financial reports, New product reporting implementation and completeness checks, and continuous checking and updating reference data in MIS database<\/li>\n<li>Perform Configuration of New Business and Product Rules and Changes to Live Rule on Data Warehouse systems, End-to-End testing before implementing the changes, Systems development documentation as per Design &amp; Development Methodology.<\/li>\n<li>Perform Billing processing completeness checks and identifying possible issues, business rules verification from time to time on the Data Warehouse<\/li>\n<li>Perform Interconnect checks on the new trunks and traffic trending on Daily Basis, configure interconnect rates, and new destinations updates as they are communicated, Perform Interconnect Settlement Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>National Roaming Reporting and Key Performance Indicator Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Training and Self Development and Keep up to date with new technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Core competencies, knowledge, experience &amp; Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Computer Science (BSc) or Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<li>2 Years\u2019 experience in Telecommunication Industry and\/or Billing Environment.<\/li>\n<li>Data mining\/analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Office Application Knowledge especially EXCEL, Presentation and Documentation<\/li>\n<li>Programing and SQL Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>System Maintenance and Management Skills<\/li>\n<li>Billing System Administration Skills<\/li>\n<li>Project knowledge and experience would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Data Warehouse Certification e.g. Oracle Certifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and Diagnose<\/li>\n<li>Incident Response<\/li>\n<li>Data Driven Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Dev Ops<\/li>\n<li>Security<\/li>\n<li>Software Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Cloud<\/li>\n<li>Automation and Robotics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Commitment from Vodacom<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Vodacom is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the very best people by offering a flexible, motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognized, developed and rewarded.
