These attitudes and believes shall guide our actions and relationships.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote and share ideas for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Implement delegated education project portfolio according to plan of action (according strategy, proposals, budgets, plans and donor requirements)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper filing of documents<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with relevant partners within the Education sector and represent NRC at camp relevant meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Implement delegated Education project portfolio according to plan of action (according to strategy, proposals, budgets, plans and donor requirements)<\/li>\n<li>Involve and inform communities and community leaders about the activities<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of NRC\u2019s Education programme policy through working with programme management.<\/li>\n<li>Takes lead in conducting rehabilitation\/construction assessments and continuous gap identification and analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Education or higher diploma with experience of working in construction\/shelter sector.<\/li>\n<li>Proven practical experience in the planning and execution of education, rehabilitation \/ construction projects for at least 3 years mostly in humanitarian assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from working as an Education Officer with more rehabilitation\/ construction activities in a humanitarian\/recovery context<\/li>\n<li>Documented results related to the position\u2019s responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Be able to use a wide variety of software, including Word, Excel and Power Point<\/li>\n<li>Participate in appropriate professional development of project portfolio<\/li>\n<li>At all times in and outside work adherence to NRC code of conduct<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information.<\/li>\n<li>Participate actively in supervisory and appraisal process<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality at all times<\/li>\n<li>Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of disadvantaged populations (minority groups, PSN etc)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Personal qualities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and delivering results<\/li>\n<li>Empowering and building trust<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with impact and respect<\/li>\n<li>Handling insecure environment<\/li>\n<li>Work with courtesy, sensitivity, tact and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality at all times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>We can offer<\/b><br \/>\nDuty station: Nyarugusu,Kigoma<br \/>\nContract period is for 12 months with possibility of extension.<br \/>\nSalary\/benefits: According to NRC\u2019s general directions, The candidate will observe NRC\u2019s code of conduct and working hours for the NRC Office in Nyarugusu ,Kigoma<br \/>\nApplication deadline: 08\/04\/2020<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"httpsss:\/\/candidate.webcruiter.com\/en-gb\/Account\/SpaLogin?ReturnUrl=%2Fcv%3Fadvertid%3D4214766281%26language%3Den%26link_source_id%3D0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education Officer NRC is looking for a qualified candidate to work as Education Officer base\u00a0 at Nyarugusu,Kigoma.
