DUTY STATION: MWANZA<\/p>\n

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mechanical Support and maintenance Officer to join our team.<\/p>\n

\u00a0DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and Equipment\u2019s<\/li>\n
  • Intervening immediately in the event of breakdown, failures or malfunctions<\/li>\n
  • Checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored.<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct periodic maintenance checks, planning equipment upgrades and machinery modifications, identifying faults, investigating equipment breakdown and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.<\/li>\n
  • To keep maintenance reports and also make records for all the repair works on site.<\/li>\n
  • To carefully maintain inventory for the tools and place orders for new<\/li>\n
  • Should be quickly to attend calls for repair work as delay in work results in revenue loss for the company.<\/li>\n
  • Interacts with managers and supervisors at plant and corporate personnel to secure appropriate resource to plan and implement projects.<\/li>\n
  • Supervising engineering and technical staff<\/li>\n
  • Enforce preventative measures<\/li>\n
  • Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions<\/li>\n
  • Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations of warehouse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATION<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • At least 10 years of experience as a Mechanical repair and Maintenance in the Heavy Industries, Mining or any other related industries.<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering, or similar experience.<\/li>\n
    • Age should be 35yrs-45yrs<\/li>\n
    • Experience with different type of Engine and System.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of WCM, EEM, Kaizens, Lean, TPM, Root Cause, PFMEA&DFMEA toolsets.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to work independently on assigned task<\/li>\n
    • Flexible and open-minded with good written and oral communication<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office \u2018Excel and MS Project.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data<\/li>\n
    • Team player<\/li>\n
    • Good time-management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
