You behave with integrity and transparency.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head the litigation function and support the Chief Legal Officer to manage litigation.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the cases portfolio of the company and coordinate technological support.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for assigning cases and supervising litigation work<\/li>\n<li>Help defend the company against cases or bring cases against others on behalf of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a team of in-house attorneys or legal assistants.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure department milestones and goals are met and manage the budget<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and work closely with outside legal representation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on business decisions and manage risks to help protect the company from potential lawsuits.<\/li>\n<li>Manage caseloads and coordinating technological support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Qualifications,Experience &amp; Competencies\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>LLB (LLM preferable)<\/li>\n<li>Advocate with 10 years PQE experience in civil litigation in the courts in Tanzania<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and organised<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working at senior level managing a varied portfolio in the corporate world across various industries<\/li>\n<li>Preferred knowledge of related products and services in various sectors<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across different functions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead a team<\/li>\n<li>Good command of the English language<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel (mainly within the country)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to equal employment opportunities and unbiased treatment of all individuals in all employment practices\u201d<br \/>\nOnly Successful Candidates will be contacted<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"httpsss:\/\/millicomuniversity.csod.com\/ats\/careersite\/JobDetails.aspx?site=1&amp;id=7212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><b>CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Warning:<\/b>\u00a0Never Pay To Get A Job.
