Successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Department, including designing, developing and evaluating leadership development programmes and conducting research on areas of leadership development and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p><b>Successful Candidate will gain and\/or be exposed to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contemporary leadership development trends and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Executive education workshop\/event coordination skills.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation of executive education programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Writing and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Database management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Different computer software and programmes for performing different tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Record-keeping skills (Government record-keeping and filing system).<\/li>\n<li>Office practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Duration and Work Schedule:<\/b><br \/>\nThe selected Intern will be provided with a three-month contract with the possibility of extension if necessary. Some assignments will require traveling.<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in one of the following disciplines; Education, Political Science, Human Resource Management, Business Administration and other related Social Science degree.<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Swahili.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel and internet search tools.<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer experience is preferred, although not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested candidates should submit their applications via\u00a0<b>recruitment@uongozi.or.tz<\/b>\u00a0with the following subject line \u201cTraining Intern\u201d by March 28, 2020 at 1400 hours (EAT).
