{"id":15149,"date":"2020-03-14T18:14:33","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T15:14:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=15149"},"modified":"2020-03-14T18:14:33","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T15:14:33","slug":"4-new-jobs-opportunities-at-tol-gases-limited-plant-operators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/4-new-jobs-opportunities-at-tol-gases-limited-plant-operators\/","title":{"rendered":"4 New Jobs Opportunities at TOL Gases Limited, Plant Operators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: <b>PLANT OPERATORS<\/b>\u00a0(4 positions)<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><br \/>\nResponsible for safe operation of the plant as per working instructions and first line diagnosis of any problem associated with the plant.<\/p>\n<p><b>Main Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the reduction of operational cost by effectively operating the plant as per working instructions and implementing plant maintenance schedules as may be required from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out purity and quality control checks and record results hourly.<\/li>\n<li>Recording plant operating parameters hourly.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting any plant deviation to the supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all plant parameters are working on full capacity so as to ensure the quality of the products.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring adherence to all ISO 22000 standards related to plants maintenance and cleanliness as specifically identified by company Good Manufacturing Practice.<\/li>\n<li>Observing and applying safety regulations in the plant as required by company and in due consideration of OSHA standards.<\/li>\n<li>Working with other department to ensure that there is effective coordination of activities for attaining overall company objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualification and competencies<\/b><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b> <b>Education:<\/b> Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering\/Chemical and processing Engineering, membership with the Tanzania Engineering boards is an added advantage.<br \/>\n<b>Working Experience:<\/b> 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment at a senior level.<br \/>\nLanguage and Computer Skills: Fluent in both and written and spoken English and Swahili.
