With a five (5) year strategic plan in place, the company will be growing rapidly to meet regional demands.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity as there will be progression for the right candidate<\/p>\n<p>Farm access Ltd is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their Arusha-based factory and main office. Ideal Candidates should be a fully qualified accountant with strong skills across broad range of functions, including P&amp;L, balance sheets and audit<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transaction Processing \/ Systems \/ Controls, Management of Fiscal and statutory affairs<\/li>\n<li>Financial Reporting, Financial Data Security, Procurement and Inventory control<\/li>\n<li>Managing the register of Assets, Management of Receivables and Payables accounts<\/li>\n<li>Lead in internal or external audits as the focal person<\/li>\n<li>Assisting\/guiding related parties\/sister companies in their operations, as may be guided by the Administration Director.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty that shall be assigned by the Administration Director within in the scope of business operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable University, CPA(T) qualification is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Financial Accounting background and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>At least five years of experience in handling financial records, reporting and taxation matters in a reputable company. Good at compliance (TRA) and data management<\/li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical Industries.<\/li>\n<li>Working Proficiency in Electronic Financial Accounting Systems and spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<li>Tanzanian National, of good repute. Identifying potential hazards &amp; conducting HSE risk analysis.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance of an effective Safety, Health &amp; Environmental Management System in line with ISO and GMP standards<\/li>\n<li>Offer support and advice for all Health, Safety and Environmental matters to all colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Working with the people manager be responsible for the delivery of training and full company induction for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the current Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures and manage the development and delivery of new ones as required<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the Safety, Health &amp; Environmental Committee.
