We operate in collaboration with a sister company, known as Ardent Porters Limited, in Yiwu, China. We provide a range of services including Customs Clearing, Imports Facilitation, Exports Management, Buying Agency, Full Container Cargo (FCL) Handling, Loose Cargo (LCL) Handling, and Insurance Brokerage.<\/p>\n<p><b>Position Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Principal Insurance Officer will spearhead all insurance related activities of our Company. He\/she will undertake a mix of operational and supervisory roles related to selling insurance products, meeting customers, and handling administrative issues related to the role.<\/p>\n<p><b>Main Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building and maintaining business relationships<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling and attending meetings<\/li>\n<li>Discussing and assessing clients\u2019 current and future insurance needs<\/li>\n<li>Researching insurance policies and products in the Tanzania market<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers<\/li>\n<li>Arranging insurance cover for clients with insurance provider<\/li>\n<li>Collecting insurance premiums<\/li>\n<li>Keeping detailed records<\/li>\n<li>Advising clients on making claims on their policies<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking marketing activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The level of education should be Diploma in Insurance or above<\/li>\n<li>Experience of at least three (3) years in insurance business<\/li>\n<li>Superior oral and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Should be under 35 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application Process<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Applications, along with C.V\u2019s, should be submitted online to <b>info.porters@gmail.com<\/b> before 10:00pm on Friday, January 31st, 2020.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Principal Insurance Officer About API Ardent Porter International (API) is a clearing and forwarding company that is based in Dar es Salaam.
