For those families most at-risk, we provide loving residential care in an effort to further strengthen the community\u2019s long-term capacity.<\/p>\n<p>This is a full-year coordinator position, that is possible to start remote, with the understanding that the fellow will move to Nkoaranga, Tanzania within 3 months of start date. This fellowship is a great jumping point for a career working in communications in non-profits. We are seeking an individual with a degree in marketing and communications and\/or trackable experience to match. Fellows are provided with learning resources, professional development, Swahili lessons, housing, internet stipends, and a living stipend concurrent to Tanzanian living standards.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b> Communications (60%)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and execute marketing materials and public relations with development team. Prepare content and assist in producing all communications including the monthly children\u2019s village letter, quarterly newsletter, press releases, blogs content, with development team<\/li>\n<li>Manage and coordinate communication calendar for social media channels in collaboration with Sponsorship + Communications Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement creative and effective storytelling strategies that help generate additional sponsors and donors<\/li>\n<li>Research and recommend platforms for storytelling and innovative new communication techniques<\/li>\n<li>Assist development team with post visitor and volunteer communication and stewardship<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and log incoming communication and media coverage<\/li>\n<li>Research and send out communications to potential media and speaking engagement<\/li>\n<li>Write 1-2 blog posts sharing stories of TST, our families, and your experience as a fellow<\/li>\n<li>With the development team, create pitches for articles + press releases<\/li>\n<li>Copywriting, editing, and proofreading internal and external communications, including reports and other program deliverables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marketing (25%)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and manage marketing and communications strategy, digital media press kit, and best practice guide book for best ROI<\/li>\n<li>Manage all advertisement platforms used for volunteers, interns, and visitors, finding new and creative ways to publicize our Social Impact Tour program<\/li>\n<li>Assist in copy editing and website content<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with development team to create new, innovative ways to engage donors, sponsors and increase<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Find the best platforms for fundraising campaigns and events; create marketing strategy and calendar for all campaigns<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Create marketing materials to distribute to our donors, such as sponsorship cards, family profiles, videos, photos, data visualization, and short articles<\/li>\n<li>Participate in organization\u2019s fundraising efforts through marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019-CreativeAD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"8884173138\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nSocial Media (15%)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Manage the TST Instagram and assist in Facebook management<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Engage with current and potential supporters on all social media platforms<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Publicize TST\u2019s programs and projects by engaging with online communities, especially Facebook + Instagram<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist is social media scheduling + create a social media strategy to increase conversions into donors, visitors, sponsors, volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essential Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Native English speaker, or equivalent level of written and spoken fluency<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field; or equivalent work experience in the field of marketing, reporting, communications, PR, or related field<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Computer literacy in MS Office or equivalent; experience with WordPress and Google Drive a plus<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience working with children<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience working in the developing preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Swahili is preferred but willingness to learn is essential!<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated track record of PR\/marketing success, ideally with small organizations or businesses preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Qualities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to work independently, take direction from others, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Commitment to the vision and mission of TST<\/li>\n<li>Adapts strategy to changing conditions and communicates changes effectively<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative, open team-player who\u2019s able to maintain and support a wide range of stakeholders of various positions and ages<\/li>\n<li>A flexible, self-motivated go-getter who\u2019s able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Detail-oriented yet able to never lose sight of the bigger picture and long-term goals<\/p>\n<p><b>Benefits<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary range $250-$750 per month based on experience<\/li>\n<li>Housing provided: shared kitchen\/bathroom with private room, internet stipend<\/li>\n<li>Breakfast and lunch available onsite Monday-Friday<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Access to private car in evenings\/weekends<\/li>\n<li>Flying AMREF Coverage for one year<\/li>\n<li>\u00a028 paid days of vacation<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assistance in acquiring visa and permits<\/li>\n<li>Living minutes from Arusha National Park with access to cultural excursions, and within half hour of Arusha town;
