{"id":13811,"date":"2020-01-06T18:23:37","date_gmt":"2020-01-06T15:23:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=13811"},"modified":"2020-01-06T18:23:37","modified_gmt":"2020-01-06T15:23:37","slug":"job-opportunity-at-halotel-tanzania-financial-accountant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-opportunity-at-halotel-tanzania-financial-accountant\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunity at Halotel Tanzania, Financial Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Financial Accountant<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Transaction Processing \/ Systems \/ Controls<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Periodic Financial Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Management of Fiscal and statutory affairs<\/li>\n<li>Managing the register of Assets<\/li>\n<li>Management of Receivables and Payables accounts<\/li>\n<li>Financial Data Security<\/li>\n<li>Cash\/Cash Equivalents and Treasury Management<\/li>\n<li>Advising Management of Financial Issues<\/li>\n<li>Lead in internal or external audits as the focal person<\/li>\n<li>Documentation and recommendation of updates to financial processes<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with associate entities on matters related to finance<\/li>\n<li>Assisting\/guiding related parties\/sister companies in their operations, as may be guided by the General Manager<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty that shall be assigned by the General Manager\/Director(s) within in the scope of business operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Financial Accounting background<\/li>\n<li>University Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable University<\/li>\n<li>CPA(T) qualification is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>At least three years of experience in handling financial records, reporting and taxation matters in a reputable company.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Car Hire, Tourism and Hospitality Industries.<\/li>\n<li>Working Proficiency in Electronic Financial Accounting Systems and spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<li>Good command of Kiswahili and English languages, both spoken and written.<\/li>\n<li>Tanzanian National, of good repute.
