{"id":13770,"date":"2020-01-06T16:49:29","date_gmt":"2020-01-06T13:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=13770"},"modified":"2020-01-06T16:49:29","modified_gmt":"2020-01-06T13:49:29","slug":"job-opportunity-at-magare-company-limited-internal-auditor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-opportunity-at-magare-company-limited-internal-auditor\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunity at Magare Company Limited, Internal auditor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Internal auditor\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nMagare Company Limited is one of the Tanzanian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company whose vision is to be the leading engineering company in providing Mining and Industrial Electro-mechanical Solutions in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Magare Company Limited invites applications from qualified candidates in the following positions;<\/p>\n<p><b>INTERNAL AUDITOR\u00a0 (<\/b>1)<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Holder of bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in Information Technology will be added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA<\/li>\n<li>Minimum One (1) year experience as an Internal Auditor in recognized organization<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy, conversant with MS Excel, MS Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>\u00a0Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports that reflect audit\u2019s results and document process<\/li>\n<li>Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement<\/li>\n<li>Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector\u2019s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards<\/li>\n<li>Providing advice and guidance to Managers and staffs at all levels, sometimes by delivering courses and training sessions<\/li>\n<li>Performing risk assessments on key business activities and using this information to guide what should be covered in audits<\/li>\n<li>Assessing how well the business is complying with rules and regulations and informing management of any issues that need addressing.<\/li>\n<li>Attending meetings with the audited to develop an understanding of business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Researching and assessing how well risk management processes are working and recording the results using software such as Microsoft word and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Anticipating emerging issues through research and interviews and deciding how best to deal with them.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports to highlight issues and problems and distributing the reports to the relevant people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting relationship:\u00a0 \u00a0Head of Finance &amp; Accounts, Managing Director<\/p>\n<p>Work schedule:\u00a0 \u00a0As per Magare Company Limited policy\/determined by Head of Technical Operations<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>Applicants are invited to submit their resume (indicating the position title in the subject heading) via e-mail to<b> hr@magare.co.tz<\/b>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Applications via other methods will not be considered.\u00a0 \u00a0Applicants need to submit their resume, letter of application and certificates for authentic check.
