{"id":13607,"date":"2019-12-27T11:59:19","date_gmt":"2019-12-27T08:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=13607"},"modified":"2019-12-27T11:59:19","modified_gmt":"2019-12-27T08:59:19","slug":"8-job-opportunities%e2%80%8b-at-crdb-bank-zonal-ict-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/8-job-opportunities%e2%80%8b-at-crdb-bank-zonal-ict-officers\/","title":{"rendered":"8 Job Opportunities\u200b at CRDB Bank, Zonal ICT Officers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CRDB Bank Plc is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant positions existing in the Department of Information &amp; Communication Technology (ICT).<\/p>\n<p>The Bank seeks to recruit highly competent, self-motivated and professional individuals to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n<p><b>\u200b Zonal ICT Officer <\/b>\u2013 8 Positions\u200b<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To provide a high level of technical support by managing and monitoring ATMs, POS, ICT Working Tools such as Scanners, Printers and Computers, and ensure all are working to the high operational level at all time as per bank requirements.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To\u200b ensure all branch ICT working tools, POS &amp; ATMs are UP and running 24\/7 and report all incidents patterning to manage working tools and office machines.<\/li>\n<li>Handling\u200b of new outlets (Branches or HQ Offices) or re-allocations by providing full support and ensure all working tools are functioning efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrade\u200b ICT working tools, OS level \u2013windows upgrade and hardware level such as Memory \/HDD upgrade where necessary to increase performance of computers.<\/li>\n<li>Supervision\u200b and inspections of PCS\/Printers\/POS &amp; ATMs during delivery, inspections, installation and commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Make\u200b sure all PCS\/Printers\/ POS &amp; ATMs are working as per capacity and expected hardware requirements.(configurations, Maintenance and repair).<\/li>\n<li>To\u200b provide desktop support and general configuration\/installation of all authorized application software e.g. MS Office 2007\/2016, Ms Projects, IBM Note, antivirus Esset 7, Savvy, Sybrin, FBE, Manage Engine, Per pay and other bank applications.<\/li>\n<li>Connecting\u200b all computers to domain and make sure each users are login to computers using his\/her own ID.<\/li>\n<li>Make\u200b sure all computers receive updates and are running with current windows security updates, Esset updates and all updated software authorized by the bank.<\/li>\n<li>To\u200b provide at branch level, network support and general configuration on all ICT working tools such as PCs\/ Laptops, scanners printers.<\/li>\n<li>Provide\u200b high level end User support via e-mails, VOIP, attending them remotely by using Manage Engineor attending physically or escalate to Manager Working Tools &amp; Office Machines where needed.<\/li>\n<li>Perform\u200b routine service maintenance service on all ICT working tools especially Computers, Printers and scanners quarterly.<\/li>\n<li>Provided\u200b network support on end user computer as per instructions of LAN \/WAN manager, on network port access e.g. port activation or Cisco switch replacement in case of any faults.<\/li>\n<li>Support\u200b ATM, by troubleshooting and install OS and applications software and ATM switch configurations (BWAC).<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Make sure the ATM are working with update software and security modules e.g. Antivirus.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Provide general training to branch staff on how to use ICT working Tools.\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b> <b><br \/>\n<\/b> <b>Experience, Knowledge and Skills Requirements\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u200b Degree in Information Systems(IS), Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum\u200b of 2 years working experience on POS, ATMs and ICT working Tools such as PCs\/ Laptops &amp; Printers.<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Previous experience working on PCs\/Printers\/ POS and ATMs.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Certified in CISCO\/MSCA WINDOW 10 will be added advantage.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Knowledge in usage of computer applications.\u200b<\/li>\n<li>\u200b Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team.\u200b \u00b7\u200b\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Good customer services and communication skills.\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remuneration:<\/p>\n<p>CRDB BANK PLC offers competitive remuneration and benefits.
