Mbeya University of Science and Technology invites applications from suitable and qualified Tanzanian Citizens to fill in the following vacant positions that exist as follows:<\/p>\n
ASSISTANT LECTURER<\/b> 6 POSTS<\/p>\n
Applicants should possess the following qualification:<\/p>\n
Msc (Civil Engineering) 3 Posts
\nMsc (Mechanical Engineering) 3 Posts<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n
Holder of Master Degree in a relevant field with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent in the first degree.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n
Carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate programmes;
\nPrepare and present case studies;
\nConduct and publish\/disseminate research results;
\nParticipate in consultancies and community services under supervision;
\nAttend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
\nPerform any other duty that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.
\nSALARY SCALE PUTS 2<\/p>\n
TENURE Permanent<\/b><\/p>\n
Successful candidates shall hold the office for One (01) Year and may be renewed upon satisfactory service.<\/p>\n

\nApplicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
\nCertificates from foreign Universities should be verified by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
