The Swedish Institute (SI) is now launching\u00a0the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP)<\/em>, a new scholarship programme which replaces\u00a0Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS)<\/em>.\u00a0SISGP offers scholarships to a large number of master\u2019s programmes starting in the autumn semester 2020.<\/p>\n

Scholarship value\/inclusions\/duration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The scholarship covers tuition fees,\u00a0living expenses of\u00a0SEK 10,000\u00a0per month, insurance, and a one-time travel grant of\u00a0SEK 15,000\u00a0(only for scholarship holders living outside Sweden). There are no additional grants for family members.<\/p>\n

The scholarship is intended for full-time one-year or two-year master\u2019s programmes, and is only awarded for programmes starting in the autumn semester.<\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be eligible for SISGP, you must have had at least 3,000 hours\u2019 work experience prior to 3 February 2019 from a maximum of three organisations\/companies.\u00a0 Applicants must be from an eligible country (see above).\u00a0 You must be able to demonstrate your previous leadership experience. The experience may be demonstrated through for instance previous work experience, or involvement in civil society organisations.<\/p>\n

You must be liable to pay tuition fees to the universities, have paid the application fee for master\u2019s programmes at\u00a0University Admissions\u00a0on time before 1 February 2019,\u00a0and be admitted to one of the eligible master\u2019s programmes by 3 April 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  1. To begin with, apply for a master\u2019s programme at\u00a0universityadmissions.se<\/a>, between 16 October 2018 \u2013 15 January 2020<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Apply for an SI scholarship between 10-20 February 2020<\/strong>, following the instructions at the official website. The application form will be available in January 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
