Mwanza<\/p>\n<p><b>JOB OBJECTIVE<\/b><br \/>\nThis position will be responsible for managing all field technicians duties in Operations and<br \/>\nMaintenance division in terms overall Sites maintenance on power functionality.<\/p>\n<p><b>CORE JOB DESCRIPTION<\/b><br \/>\nThe main duties FMS are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage site maintenance Technicians as per SLA<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate site maintenance and power activities on daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly site maintenance preventive schedules and generation of end of month reports<\/li>\n<li>Power spares inventory management<\/li>\n<li>Administrative support to Technicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/b><\/p>\n<p>NR KPA\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>Passive Uptime and Operation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To achieve internal network availability\/uptime target 99.995%<\/li>\n<li>To ensure PM is executed as per SOP guidelines<\/li>\n<li>To ensure there is NO penalty or any other Liquidated Damages<\/li>\n<li>To ensure all sites are visible through external alarms and RMS as per customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Managing Field Technicians in terms of maintenance, overseeing generators maintenance services.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that Field Technicians carries their work effectively and efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule preventative-maintenance programs in relation to generator hours.<\/li>\n<li>Follow on daily basis schedule for generators refueling as per fuelling schedule<\/li>\n<li>Manage all generator faults and ensure minimal generator running times<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that site Field Technicians minimize call-outs and enhance cost effective usage of spares and vehicle fuel<\/li>\n<li>Update site data base for entire network monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing faults reports from NOC and Performance team and share permanent resolution plan<\/li>\n<li>Receiving and storing all acceptance or receipt documents\/forms<\/li>\n<li>Report all upgrade\/replacement of equipment caused load increase at site<\/li>\n<li>Report all issues captures at site that compromising customer compliance<\/li>\n<li>Timely sharing of all O&amp;M Reports as per stipulated timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Management of Field Technician<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all Technicians follows all technical specifications and HTT\/NETIS regulations<\/li>\n<li>Prepare motivation and analyze quotes for equipment from Field Technicians and ensure purchase order are timely issued<\/li>\n<li>Guide and manage the maintenance contractors on specifications<\/li>\n<li>Motivate and train the Technicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OPEX Reduction<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of OPEX saving initiatives to reduce site fuel consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership and management of monthly field team vehicle fuel to meet the target amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Administration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all health and safety regulations are implemented and adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Follow Policies, Procedures and Regulations defined by NETIS\/ SHEQ<\/li>\n<li>Prepare policies and procedures for maintenance best practice<\/li>\n<li>Constant liaison with other departments on issues related to maintenance or the administration thereof<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily , weekly and monthly reports or any report as may be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Self-Development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training and self-development<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with new technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be prepared to work extra hours as department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum required Reasons<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification in<\/li>\n<li>Electrical\/Electronic Diploma or<\/li>\n<li>Engineering, degree or diploma<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, detailed focused in managing process especially use of computer system and tools in power management and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>The ability to effectively understand Project management especially scheduling and meeting deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Prerequisite knowledge of GSM or Telecom systems<\/li>\n<li>Specific ability to understand process and enhance fault finding<\/li>\n<li>Prerequisite knowledge of Power systems<\/li>\n<li>Specific ability to manage and enhance the power systems management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WORKING EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum required Reasons<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience within related business activities, telecom experience will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Understand the profile of a GSM System and Power related equipment company and main focus
