coordinate human resources strategy for VisionFund, Tanzania (VFT) \u2013 Microfinance Business (MFB) including manpower planning, recruitment &amp; selection, orientation, placement, performance management, compensation package, staff development and talent management.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><br \/>\nEnsure that Human Resources (HR) Strategy is developed &amp; implemented in all areas of the organization and in compliance with VFT &amp; VisionFund International (VFI) standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides strategic People support and advice on Human Resources issues.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the employee handbook on a per need basis, and ensures that all revision and addition to the policies are written in the employee handbook; Informs all concerned staff the changes entered into the employee handbook.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that good insurance covers for staff are in place that will be of benefit to the organization.<\/li>\n<li>All Policies are updated.<\/li>\n<li>As required quarterly present to board People &amp; Culture (P &amp; C) matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Staffing Plan &amp; Budgets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributes and advises in senior management strategic planning, with particular responsibility for HR needs, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and submits annual budget and plan for the approval of the SMT.<\/li>\n<li>Plans and implements procurements.<\/li>\n<li>Administers the logistics, safekeeping of the office premises and properties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019 Links AD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9648899391\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Recruitment, Selection, Orientation and Placement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops letters of appointment, transfer, promotion, and the like; and sends to the concerned staff after approval.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts \u201cdue diligence\u201d or the \u201cfit and proper\u201d test to assess the job applicant\u2019s background and character.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that VFT maintains a standardized and systematic hiring and recruitment process; develops or updates hiring policies and procedures most appropriate to individual positions.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates all recruitment for VFT: reviews staff requisitions, supervises the hiring and contractual process, and arranges for the new employee\u2019s orientation with the immediate supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compensation &amp; Rewards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviews the benefits scheme (compensation, incentives, and other benefits) on an annual basis; ensures that it is properly administered in accordance with the employee handbook, and if necessary, recommends to the CEO the renewal of the scheme.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts consultations with department heads to determine performance indicators and benchmarks per position.<\/li>\n<li>Periodically carries out salaries and benefits surveys for the review process in order to develop and maintain a competitive compensation package and incentive schemes for staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Performance Management &amp; Engagement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement and monitor staff performance appraisals is done on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and upgrades the performance appraisal instrument, at least yearly to determine effectiveness and applicability.<\/li>\n<li>Investigates all disciplinary and grievance cases with the respective staff, provides guidance, and corrective action through counseling, training, or instituting disciplinary procedures.<\/li>\n<li>In consultation with the senior management, develops performance indicators and standards in promoting staff to higher posts.<\/li>\n<li>Branch efficiency &amp; Effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Capability &amp; Competency Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts periodic staff training needs and plans for capacity building- training and staff development.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates and develops the staff development strategy to make sure that the staff continues to achieve professional growth within VFT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Employee Relations &amp; Change Agent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advisor P&amp;C whistleblower Committee on policies &amp; regulations governing staff disciplinary.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates grievance hearing between the staff and the committees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Visit to the Field operations quarterly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\/Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources, psychology, law and Social Science.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor Degree in HR, Social Science, Psychology &amp; Law.<\/li>\n<li>Excellence interpersonal counseling &amp;
