Leads community mobilization and sensitization of oral health practices.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><br \/>\nAssess and diagnose dental needs<br \/>\nPerform minor surgeries and tooth extractions<br \/>\nCollaborate with community health teams to conduct health education on proper oral hygiene practices<br \/>\nManage dental emergencies<br \/>\nRefer complicated cases for further investigation<br \/>\nResponsible for quality assurance by auditing own practice and ensuring that equipment remains in good condition; Make requisition for supplies and equipment repair needs in a timely manner<br \/>\nParticipate in planning and budgeting process for the dental department<br \/>\nEnsure that medical practices are conducted with the highest level of integrity and ethics according to professional and MTI Code of Conduct<br \/>\nEnsure data collected is accurate and submit reports according to schedule<br \/>\nSupport safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation &amp; Abuse, Child &amp; Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies.<br \/>\nOther duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p><b>EDUCATION, LICENSES, &amp; CERTIFICATIONS<\/b><br \/>\nBachelor degree in dental surgery<br \/>\nCompleted internship<br \/>\nRegistered with Tanganyika Medical Council<br \/>\nValid practicing license is required<\/p>\n<p><b>EXPERIENCE<\/b><br \/>\n2 years of experience as a dental assistant is required<br \/>\nExperience working with international NGOs is an added advantage<\/p>\n<p><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp;
