The Authority with the ISO 9001:2015 certification in quality management systems, is hereby seeking for a relevant qualified and highly motivated persons to fill the following competitive vacancies available in her manning level.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Title of position:<\/b>\u00a0Drivers II (Three positions)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Scope of the position:\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The holder of this position will be responsible to safely drive and efficiently maintain the Authority\u2019s vehicles by keeping maintenance schedule and fuel reports.<\/div>\n<div>Appointment by Managing Director<\/div>\n<div>Reports to Administrative Officer<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Key duties and responsibilities:<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To handle and drive assigned Authority\u2019s vehicle for official duties within Tanga City or outside Tanga City and observe all rules and guidelines according to the required legal and traffic requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the vehicle is in good and safe working condition prior to use;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the vehicle is consistently clean in a manner which is consistent with the Authority\u2019s image;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and keep up to date log books and submit to the supervisor every day for inspection;<\/li>\n<li>Update all vehicle documents such as car registration, insurance cover, motor vehicle license, etc;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out minor vehicle repairs and other emergency activities during road breakdowns and report any damage or mechanical malfunctions for appropriate action;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Make sure the vehicle is maintained and services are carried as scheduled;<\/li>\n<li>Implement administrative duties such as collecting and delivering documents, parcels, mails as directed by the supervisor;<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the vehicle is parked at Authority\u2019s yard after working hours and keys are handed over at the safe custody;<\/li>\n<li>Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Administrative Officer from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Core Competence<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive issues and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times;<\/li>\n<li>Disciplined, high level of integrity and self driven person;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak and possess good writing skills in English and Swahili<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Holders of National Form IV\/ Form VI Certificate;<\/li>\n<li>Trade Test Grade One or Two\/ Level III or Level II Certificate in Motor vehicle driving \/ Motor vehicle Mechanics from VETA or any other reputable institution<\/li>\n<li>Valid driving License preferably class \u2018\u2019c\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>At least three years working experience with a reputable employer;<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a certificate in Advanced Driving course from the National Institute of Transport (NIT), will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><b>Age Limit \u2013 Not above 45 years.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Terms of Engagement Permanent and Pensionable<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Remuneration:<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>All the posts carry attractive remuneration packages respectively, according to the Authority\u2019s salary scale and other entitlements.<\/div>\n<div>Application Modes:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A hand-written signed application letter attached with an updated Curriculum Vitae showing age, current employer and working position, address, names and contacts addresses of three referees and day working telephone numbers, Copies of relevant academic qualification certificates and other relevant testimonials. Customer Services Manager is the Head of the Department responsible for all business matters pertaining to customer services, billing, and revenue follow up and ensuring customers\u2019 satisfaction to meet Authority\u2019s Vision and Mission<\/li>\n<li>Appointed by Board of Directors<\/li>\n<li>Reports to Managing Director<\/li>\n<li>Supervises: Customer Service Officers, Billing Officer and Credit Control Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key duties and responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans, coordinates and supervises Tanga UWASA business\/ customer services, to meet the set targets of the Authority:<\/li>\n<li>Manages and coordinates the preparation of annual operating budget of the Department:<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Formulates short and long term work programmes for the Department and supervising the implementation of such programmes:<\/li>\n<li>Monitors the provision of water and sewerage services with a view to achieving customer satisfaction, and takes measures to minimize customer dissatisfaction:<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates Customers Services efficiently to meet set targets for reduction of unaccounted-for-water, revenue collection, and debt recovery:<\/li>\n<li>Establishes systems for issuing bills and collecting revenue, and takes measures to ensure that such systems are followed:<\/li>\n<li>Develops and coordinates the implementation of customer focus programmes, and advises the Managing Director on risks and threats posed by customers:<\/li>\n<li>Maintains appropriate data-base and records of all the Authority\u2019s customers:<\/li>\n<li>Ensures appropriate customer handling on all matters\/ complaints pertaining to services delivered by the Authority:<\/li>\n<li>Prepares periodic reports outlining the performance of the Department and the status of the Authority\u2019s customer services:<\/li>\n<li>Manages the Human resources of the Department in accordance with the Public Service Act (2002) and Authority\u2019s regulations, by focusing on the expansion and sustainability of the Authority:<\/li>\n<li>Monitors and evaluates Department\/Staff performance to comply with OPRAS and ISO requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Performs such other related duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Experience<\/b><br \/>\nThe holder of this position must have the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounts\/Finance, Economics\/ Marketing\/ Business Administration\/ Commerce or related field and a relevant Master\u2019s degree from a recognized institution:<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least seven (7) years working experience on a managerial position,<\/li>\n<li>Must be ICT literate with good and proven interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Age Limit \u2013 Not above 45 years<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0High integrity and accountability.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to innovate and manage
