Fluency in Swahili and English both verbal and written is desirable.<br \/>\nContract period: 1 Year renewable upon successful performance and funds\u2019 availability<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019 Links AD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9648899391\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish agroforestry interventions with organized farmer groups and public institutions e.g. schools, mosques, churches, etc. in the targeted villages under Institutional Capacity Building Project<\/li>\n<li>Identify and build capacity of communities and public institutions to establish forestry and fruit tree business nurseries as well as developing a training curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Lead sensitization activities on climate change, mitigation and adaptation, and biodiversity conservation.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as key personnel for climate change adaption at INADES.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and manage the agroforestry section in the farmer managed demonstration fields.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and skills of monitoring, evaluation and reporting is important.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate with capacity to develop project ideas and fundraising is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Good driving skills of manual transmitted motor vehicles is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Job Title: Project Officer Livestock<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Job Reports to: Project Coordinator<br \/>\nDuty Station: Kondoa Town, with project activities in villages of Kondoa and Chemba Districts<br \/>\nEducation: Bachelor\u2019s degree in livestock husbandry or related fields<br \/>\nExperience: 3 years\u2019 experience in mobilizing rural communities in field work with an ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines with less supervision. Fluency in Swahili and English both verbal and written is desirable.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mobilize target communities to engage in effective climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and biodiversity conservation for improved livelihoods of rural communities under a project on Adaptation to Climate Change for Improved Livelihoods<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement aspects of climate change adaptations in line with the improvement of communities\u2019 traditional livestock husbandry practices<\/li>\n<li>Develop training curricula and conduct capacity building to farmer groups in small livestock husbandry practices and beekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity of resource farmers (paravets) and extension officers<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and skills of monitoring, evaluation and reporting of development projects.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate with capacity to develop project ideas and fundraising is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Good driving skills of manual transmitted motor vehicles is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Applications<\/b><br \/>\nApplications, including cover letter, resume and copies of academic certificates and testimonials should be sent to The Managing Director, INADES Formation Tanzania, P. 0.
