A storekeeper will also be responsible for inspecting delivered items for damages or discrepancies, perform other related stock-related duties, including returning, packing and labelling items, Checking inventory, tally sales, handling purchases and returns, keeping quality and records, and preparation of the equipment before being dispatched to schools.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a storekeeper must ensure the safety and security of all items in the store as well as maintaining the image of the company.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Shipping and Receiving<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans and performs work that involves, ordering, receiving, inspecting, unloading, shelving, packing, labelling, and delivering equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Receiving all shipments of products and storing them in an organized manner.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for returning damaged goods to vendors that includes handling and tracking inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing stock inventories, managing customer orders, making sure that products received and issued to customers tally with other records (ensure proper record keeping).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Maintain Records<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate reports on inventory, which includes information like date and time of arrival, time on the shelf, dispatch and volume of sales.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps records and maintain inventory control to assure proper stock levels.<\/li>\n<li>Manage stock levels and assist in-stock supply forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of everything that is shipped and received.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping a count of all the items sold to assess which products are popular and which ones are not.<\/li>\n<li>Track the movement of stock from stock to sales or from stock to assets.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor company assets \u2013 have an awareness of who is in possession of company property.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Camara Education Products are of high quality and fully functional before dispatch to customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019 Links AD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9648899391\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Reporting<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual stock report.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the prepared reports are accurate, correlate with previous reports and reflect match with the actual stock.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>General<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing any other related duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Following office rules at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all documents are kept confidential<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with the use of salesforce and other record-keeping systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required, experience and competence<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The minimum qualifications for the position are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, including\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0conflict\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 resolution,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and team building.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of computerized parts system.<\/li>\n<li>Skill in inventory control method.<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in Swahili and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Prefered Minimum Qualification:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Diploma in recordkeeping, procurement and supplies, logistics management or other related fields.<br \/>\nSend your CV, Cover letter and valid certificates before 11th\u200b Oct 2019. 17:00 Hrs to the following Email address:<b>\u00a0tanzania@camara.ie\u200b\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>NB: Women are highly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"1770409377\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job title:\u00a0Storekeeper\u00a0 Reports to: Operations Manager Company Information Camara Education Tanzania P.O Box13484 #20 Ursino Street Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam Job Description The storekeeper will be responsible for various responsibilities with regards to managing inventory which include but are not limited to:- Receiving,\u200b unloading, and shelving equipment.
