All of the students are from the rural poor living in the local community.<\/p>\n<p>Title:\u00a0<b>Headmaster, Primary School<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a shared vision of academic success for all faculty and students.<\/li>\n<li>Create a climate that allows education to flourish.<\/li>\n<li>Develop leadership in others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Candidate must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree of Education.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 history of effective organizational management and leadership.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 history of developing leaders and building effective teams.<\/li>\n<li>An ability to set goals and accomplish them on time.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Swahili and English.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact and work well with teachers, students, administrators and parents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidate must be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Tanzanian citizen<\/li>\n<li>A born-again Christian of the highest integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work in a rural area.<\/li>\n<li>A servant leader.<\/li>\n<li>Able to build a high-performing team.<\/li>\n<li>Creative, innovative and self-motivated.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2019-CreativeAD --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"8884173138\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Duties include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position reports directly to the Managing Director.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate the vision of the school to the board, partners, administration, faculty, parents and students of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the implementation of the long-term strategic planning of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Create a culture of discipline and excellence, driven by high standards for all teachers and students.<\/li>\n<li>Ensue that the school timetable is strictly followed.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a cooperative partnership between the school and the students\u2019 parents.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an open and welcoming climate at the school which makes all who visit the school feel welcomed.<\/li>\n<li>Manage income, resources and expenditures in compliance with the approved academic budget.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute a plan to recruit and hire great teachers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a professional community of teachers who guide one another in improving instruction by overseeing the assignment, evaluation, training, encouragement, discipline and inspiration of the teaching staff.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure student needs are met by working with faculty to determine students\u2019 needs and by making sure that policies are in place to meet those needs, resulting in positive learning experience for all students.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor cultural trends in the school\u2014correcting negative trends and inspiring positive cultural growth\u2014by consistently being involved in the life of the school as an observer and participant, resulting in a godly culture.<\/li>\n<li>Direct curriculum development by envisioning the faculty of the school, resulting in the use of the best curriculum available.<\/li>\n<li>Discover best practices in the broader academic community and tailor them to the school\u2019s unique needs.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and guide the development of the standards and policies of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee student recruitment.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a detailed monthly report to the Managing Director on the progress and activities of the school.<\/li>\n<li>To perform any other work as assigned by the Managing Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nRespond no later than 10- September-2019.<br \/>\nPlease provide the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An application cover letter explaining your commitment and suitability based on the roles of the position.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Current CV<\/li>\n<li>Current contact information \u2013 mobile phone and e-mail<\/li>\n<li>Birth certificate<\/li>\n<li>References one being your Pastor.<\/li>\n<li>Please, no national exam results, university transcripts or any other certificates, awards, etc., at this time.
