{"id":11954,"date":"2019-08-05T04:06:02","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T01:06:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=11954"},"modified":"2019-08-05T14:02:33","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T11:02:33","slug":"jobs-at-at-nmb-bank-plc-senior-software-developer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/jobs-at-at-nmb-bank-plc-senior-software-developer\/","title":{"rendered":"Jobs at at NMB Bank Plc, Senior Software Developer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NMB Bank, NMB Bank jobs, Nafasi za kazi NMB, NMB Tanzania, Jobs at NMB Bank, Ajira mpya NMB Bank<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nPosition:\u00a0<b>Senior Software Developer\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To lead a team of software developers in studying bank operations; design, build, test and install software solutions or modify\/upgrade existing applications; support and develop software team to meet key business goals.<\/li>\n<li>Develop new products quickly or modify existing ones with flexibility, hence improve time to market, and internal processes<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in systems\/projects scoping, design, and pricing exercises as part of the development and business teams\u2019 processes; Work with Senior Manager Applications Development to ensure resource utilization targets are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Main Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Study information needs, system flows, data usage, work processes, and investigating problem areas.<\/li>\n<li>Determine operational feasibility by evaluating impact analysis, problem definition, user requirements, proposed solutions and efforts required.<\/li>\n<li>Document and demonstrate solutions, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear pseudo codes.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Develop and conduct testing plans and procedures based upon system requirements<\/li>\n<li>Manage and\/or provide guidance to junior members of the team<\/li>\n<li>Identify systems deficiencies and implement effective solutions<\/li>\n<li>Communicating and enforcing coding standards; and recommending changes in policies, processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and\/or modify products with flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Researching, evaluating, and recommending systems\/equipment\/technologies<\/li>\n<li>Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Attributes<\/b><br \/>\nKnowledge on the trending banking softwares and technologies in the market<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving and follow through; Pragmatic and thorough<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with varieties of databases and object-relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc.
