Apart from this, it is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operations using weighbridges.<br \/>\nAs a measure to strengthen capacity of discharging TANROADS\u2019 functions effectively, the Regional Manager, TANROADS Kilimanjaro Region seeks to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanian Citizens to fill the vacancies at its Himo Weighbridge Stations and Regional Office.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the various vacancies in the region on Contract terms (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance)<\/p>\n<p>.POSITION TITLE: SECURITY GUARD \u2013 (1 POST)<\/p>\n<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nGuards the premises and properties of the Agency<br \/>\nWatch for and report irregularities or hazards<br \/>\nControl of vehicles<br \/>\nApprehends anyone who threatens loss, damage, safety or security to agency property and immediately informs the management and\/or the police.<br \/>\nAssists in providing evidence in criminal cases involving theft or damage of Agency property.<br \/>\nAny other duty assigned by office supervisor.<br \/>\nKEY QUALIFICATIONS:<br \/>\nMinimum Certificate of Secondary Education Exam. (CSEE)<br \/>\nMust have attended People\u2019s Militia Course (Mgambo) or National Service (One year and above)<br \/>\nMust speak fluent Kiswahili and preferably be able to communicate in English.<br \/>\nMust be Tanzanian Citizen<br \/>\nWomen are highly encouraged to apply.<br \/>\nNot above 45 years of age<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nPOSITION TITLE: DRIVER \u2013 (4 VACANCIES)<br \/>\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nThe holder of this post who reports to the assigned supervisor will be responsible for carrying out activities as described in the Road Traffic (maximum Weigh of Vehicles) Regulations, 2001 which include the following;<br \/>\nDrive motor vehicles in urban and remote areas;<br \/>\nMaintain the vehicle logbook and all accident records pertaining to the assigned vehicle;<br \/>\nKeep repairs or maintenance needs of the vehicle to the supervisor timely;<br \/>\nReport repairs or maintenance needs of the vehicle to the supervisor timely;<br \/>\nObserve good customer care, dignity and integrity;<br \/>\nPerforming such other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:<br \/>\nHolder of a Certificate of Secondary Education Exam (CSEE)<br \/>\nHolder of valid driving license Class E;<br \/>\nHaving driving experience of at least five years;<br \/>\nMust be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English language;<br \/>\nShould have undergone training and attained Trade Test Grade III (mechanics) or Advanced Drivers Course for VIP (Grade I or II) from National Institute of Transport (NIT\/VETA).<br \/>\nNot above 35 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:<br \/>\nAppointment will be on Contract Terms up to two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n<p>REMUNERATIONS:<br \/>\nA competitive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidates for the above positions.<br \/>\nNB<br \/>\nOnly short listed candidates will be called for interview,<br \/>\nPossession of National ID is highly important.<\/p>\n<p>MODE OF APPLICATION:<br \/>\nOnly candidates who are willing to join the Agency immediately\/after being notified are invited to send their own handwritten application letter.<br \/>\nAll interested candidates are required to apply to undersigned not later than Monday 5 AUGUST, 2019 attaching to their applications, CVs, copies of certificates, birth certificates, the names of three referees with their daytime telephone numbers and the candidate\u2019s own daytime telephone contact.
