Advanced Drivers&#8217; course from NIT and Possession of Trade Test Grade Il\/Level II in Motor Vehicle Maintenance\/ Mechanics is an added advantage.<br \/>\nTerms of Engagement: Contract of unspecified period<\/p>\n<p>Remuneration: All the posts carry attractive remuneration packages respectively, according to the Authority&#8217;s salary scale and other entitlements..<\/p>\n<p>Title of the Position:\u00a0<b>10 Sales Assistants<\/b><br \/>\nScope of the position expected output: Responsible for general customer meter reading, distribution of water bills and follow up of debts.<br \/>\nAppointed by: Managing Director<br \/>\nReporting to: Credit Control Officer<br \/>\nSupervises: NILL.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities.<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Collect all data pertaining to customers, read and record meter readings in<br \/>\n\u2022 designated walk route\/data loggers;<br \/>\n\u2022 Report and submit meter readings\/data logger readings;<br \/>\n\u2022 Distribute bills to customers;<br \/>\n\u2022 Report on anomalies of meters as noted when reading meters;<br \/>\n\u2022 Report on leakages and illegal connections;<br \/>\n\u2022 Inform customers on current tariffs and modes of payment;<br \/>\n\u2022 Clean clogged water meters;<br \/>\n\u2022 Disconnect defaulted meters;<br \/>\n\u2022 Report on customer complaints regarding water meters;<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow up debts from customers; Distribute messages and leaflets from the Authority to customers;<br \/>\n\u2022 Report on illegal connections; and<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualification &amp; Experience<\/b><br \/>\nThe holder of this position must possess the following:<br \/>\n\u2022 Holder of a Form IVM Certificate of Secondary Education Examination and who has attained Level Il certificate in Plumbing, holder of Diploma in Plumbing and Water resources engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least one (1) year working experience in plumbing activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Must have at least one year working experience in plumbing\/ meter reading activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Age limit-Not above 45 by the time of application<br \/>\nTerms of Engagement: Contract of unspecified period<\/p>\n<p>Title of the Position:\u00a0<b>2 Assistant Technicians &#8211; Laboratory Operation\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nScope of the position expected output: Facilitation of water quality analysis and treatment<br \/>\nAppointed by: Managing Director<br \/>\nReporting to: Chemical processing Engineer<br \/>\nSupervises: Nill.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 To carry out water sample tests every day in order to establish the types and quantities of water treatment.<br \/>\n\u2022 To carry out analysis of raw water and treated water.<br \/>\n\u2022 To collect water samples at different parts of the water treatment for analysis and recording.<br \/>\n\u2022 To ensure that the right dose of reagents are administered at various dosing points:<br \/>\n\u2022 To prepare list of chemicals and reagents required for laboratory operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 To monitor water quality and quantity from all reservoirs and other water sources, and water distribution systems and ensure compliance with the prescribed &#8211; Tanzania standards for drinking water.<br \/>\n\u2022 To perform housekeeping duties related to his\/her section.<br \/>\n\u2022 To perform any other duties relevant to the scope of work as may be assigned by supervisor.<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualification &amp; Experience<\/b><br \/>\nHolder of Diploma in Water Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with at least two (2) years relevant experience in water supply industry and good knowledge of ICT application skills.<\/p>\n<p>Title of the Position:\u00a0<b>4 Electrical\/Mechanical Assistant Technicians\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nScope of the position: Provide service and conduct maintenance of all MUWASA water pumps and normal vehicle service and maintenance.<br \/>\nAppointed by: Managing Director<br \/>\nReporting to: Repair &amp; Maintenance Engineer<br \/>\nSupervises: Nill.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 To service and conduct maintenance of all MUWASA water pumps and normal vehicle service and maintenance.<br \/>\n\u2022 To observe water flow and report any deviation from normal operation.<br \/>\n\u2022 To operate various water pumps as per established standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 To record the operating hours of the machines deviation from normal operation.<br \/>\n\u2022 To monitor functioning of machines and report deviation from normal operation.<br \/>\n\u2022 To clean pumps and the surrounding environments.<br \/>\n\u2022 To record all people who visit the pumping station for record purposes.<br \/>\n\u2022 To operate and take care of the water pump site.<br \/>\n\u2022 To perform any other duties as may be assigned.
