The program aims to bridge the gap that exists between the academia and industry by facilitating graduates access internship in working places and acquire working skills and competence that enable them to compete in the job markets. As Tanzania heads to the 4th Industrial Revolution, information and communication technology systems become an engine and economic drivers in production, business processes and manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The internship program gives graduates an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a professional setting while preparing to work in the ICT market places. Internships offer a planned and mentored work experience with the goal being to gain additional knowledge from on the job. Graduates participating in this program will earn professional work experience in their ICT field of choice, get assistance in their job search after college life and stand out in the ICT industry as a professionally trained individual. Both interns and host institutions will create professional networks, exchange contacts and work together to further the ICT industry in Tanzania.
