The IRC leads the way from harm to home.<\/p>\n<p><b>Scope of Work\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This position is responsible for leading all M&amp;E related assignments and management of the IRC WPE programs. The position supports the development and implementation of the programs monitoring and evaluation strategy to ensure quality, timely, accurate and utility information in support of implementation of the program sector activities.\u00a0 This position will participate in proposal development and ensure project log frames are well designed in line with the IRC Outcomes and Evidence Framework (OEF), project designs aligned to IRC Monitoring for Action (MfA) standards, data are properly collected and collated using the designated IRC data collection and management systems, and ensure data protection protocols are respected.\u00a0 This position will be reporting to M&amp;E Coordinator with a dotted line to WPE Technical Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>This position will be supervising WPE M&amp;E officer. Additionally, the M&amp;E Manager will also build the M&amp;E capacity of M&amp;E Officer, M&amp;E Interns, and Program staff. S\/he will support internal program planning and review processes to assess the success of interventions, identify areas for improvement and document lessons learnt and good practices.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the WPE Technical Coordinator, s\/he will support the preparation of internal and donor project reports and will be directly responsible for reporting on progress against indicators and quality assurance. S\/he will be self-sufficient and undertake all administrative, logistical and management work as may be needed for the delivery of the M&amp;E related tasks.<\/p>\n<p>This post holder will facilitate collaboration and working closely with other M&amp;E staff and program staff within IRC in creating and maintaining a robust M&amp;E system of the Tanzania country programs.<\/p>\n<p><b>Specific Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Data Management and Quality Assurance.<\/p>\n<p>Review existing M&amp;E tools, systems and approaches and design various WPE data collection tools, lead data collection processes and ensure high quality data is collected.<br \/>\nCoordinate and Supervise M&amp;E Officers in ensuring quality data entered into designated databases.<br \/>\nPerform Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) and ensure that programs generate quality data through monitoring visits, spot checks and regular data verifications.<br \/>\nBuild capacity of WPE staff in understanding indicators, provide on job support and mentoring, and design trainings on data quality, management and analysis based on staff and M&amp;E training needs and conduct follow up of each training.<br \/>\nProduce monthly and quarterly dashboard\/summary reports on the reach versus targets as outlined in the project log frames.<br \/>\nUpdate on archiving projects M&amp;E key documents, guidelines, tools, data files, analysis files, reports and presentations in shared drive or box.<br \/>\nEnsure effective storage of assessments, surveys and evaluations and\/or organizational knowledge in shared folders or box, and to use this knowledge base to promote learning across the organization.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Program designing, Reporting and Compliance:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ensure programs aligned to the IRC MfA standards through having quality M&amp;E plan, and M&amp;E work plan<br \/>\nFollow and monitor the reporting calendar and ensure timely submission of IRC and donor indicator data.<br \/>\nPrepare high quality, analytical reports and support program activity reporting and synthesize across sites on monthly, bi-annual and annual basis in accordance with expected results.<br \/>\nEnsure client feedback are regularly captured through feedback logbook and updated in feedback registry<br \/>\nWork closely with M&amp;E Coordinator in strengthening the IRC Tanzania country program M&amp;E system and roll out comprehensive M&amp;E plans with corresponding data collection and analysis tools aligned with agreed work plans, the log frame, and performance indicators.<\/p>\n<p><b>Program Review, Learning and Evaluations<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Organize and participate in monthly program review meetings<br \/>\nDocument, disseminate and apply good practices and lessons learnt in the program review meetings.<br \/>\nParticipate in designing and implementation of the different internal surveys, research, and evaluations<br \/>\nStaff Management and Capacity Building in M&amp;E:<\/p>\n<p>Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and coaching to M&amp;E Officers, and Interns.<br \/>\nProvide orientation and build capacity on IRC M&amp;E processes, data collection and updates to M&amp;E staff and Program Staff.<br \/>\nPerformance review and management to M&amp;E Officers and interns.<\/p>\n<p><b>Common Duties<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Attend and participate in training identified\/organized by your supervisor.<br \/>\nFollow any new procedures and guidelines designated in circulars from Country Director.<br \/>\nReport any violations of IRC\u2019s three core values (Integrity, Service and Accountability) as per IRC WAY reporting mechanism.
